Vernon artist: Maggie McKay

My name is Maggie McKay and I am an artist living here in Vernon! I moved here when I was 13 from Brattleboro, where I grew up. I live up on Honey Brim Roadoff Huckle Hill and am constantly surrounded in beautiful wildlife. Much of my art is inspired by that aspect of my life, as well as my trips to the tropics.
I am mainly an acrylic paint artist working on large canvas, occasionally dabbling with oil and water color. You can catch me sketching and planning paintings on my tablet, as well as creating logos and digital media.
I love painting BIG, I have painted multiple murals on walls of my home and places around the world and would love to leave my creative mark on more people’s homes.

My focus and passion lies in color coordination, aiming to create the most eye catching color combos on a beautiful design. My colors are never boring!

I do commissioned pieces of just about anything, and am happy to remake any of the paintings that have been sold in my collection. I am available for murals indoor or outdoor and am excited to help make others visions come alive! Additionally, I can provide digital artwork for websites or logos! See more of my work on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/magmckart/

I love teaching art and sharing my creative expression, and hope that by sharing my mission I can do more of that!!
