Good morning! Reminder -Taxes are due May 1st, 2025 they can be mailed, dropped in the lockbox, paid online (there is a 3% vendor fee when using your credit card) or simply dropped off. The Interim Treasurer and I will be at an all-day training tomorrow-Wednesday the 30th but the selectboard chair Sandra Harris will be here from 7am-1pm taking tax payments at the Town Clerk window. We are not open for clerk business; she is here to take tax payments. The Vernon Conservation commission is meeting tonight at 6:30pm. Green up day is Saturday so stop by sign-up and grab your bags. The Treasurer's office is still working on limited office hours and has opened the service window during office hours. The Treasurer can also be reached by phone at 802-257-2141 or email vatreas@vernonvt.org. The Town Clerk’s office hours are as follows- Monday through Thursday 7AM-5PM but is closed between 2-3PM.
