Vernon has been awarded a grant to develop an Outdoor Recreation Master Plan. Once the plan is completed, the desired outcome is to implement these improvements to provide recreation opportunities for residents regardless of age or capability.   The Selectboard will be appointing a Committee to work with Town officials and consultants from Weston & Sampson to development of a comprehensive plan.  Vernon residents interested in being on this committee can email the Town Administrator at vernonta@vernonvt.org.  Emails will be submitted to the Board of Selectmen for consideration and appointment.
