Vernon is really rocking the Census response this year! We are now at 74%, which is remarkable.

There is still time to get our numbers up even higher. As you all know, the Census greatly impacts funding for education, highways, etc. The Census is attributing part of the lagging responses to potential rental property and second home situations, college students, or single parents. If you know anyone in town that meets any of these criteria, please share this information. This information will help explain how to properly complete the Census information online, by phone, or by mail. If the information is not recorded correctly, the information is not counted.

Just as we might remind a neighbor to turn their clocks back/forward in the Fall/Spring, we can help by reminding everyone to complete the Census now.
