You are invited to the first-ever Vernon Artisan Market on Sunday, December 13, 2015, from 12 noon to 4 pm.
When Bronna Zlochiver set up her home pottery studio several years ago, she thought about having an open studio event in some future year. Recently, Margaret Shipman (jeweller, painter, graphic designer) and Bronna decided that this would be the year. “We know there are many talented, creative people in Vernon and we want to showcase those folks,” Bronna says.
They currently are planning on 5 locations: the lobby of the Town Office Building, Vermont Wood Studios, Nancy Renaud’s Barn Door Wreaths shop, Donna Scully’s studio and shop, and my home studio.
Sandy Harris (basket maker), Jean Carr (quilter) and Margaret Shipman will have their work for sale in the lobby of the Town Office Building that afternoon as well. The Historians will be selling holiday cards, posters of Pine Top Ski Area by Barbara Emery Moseley, a variety of books and a DVD about Vernon, and coffee and sweets made by Carol Hammond.
