The Vernon Cemetery will be having a special meeting tonight 6:00PM in person only in the lobby of Town Hall.

The Girl Scouts are meeting tonight downstairs in person only at 6:30PM.

The 1st installment of real estate taxes is due Wednesday September 9th, 2026. If the Clerk’s office is closed the Treasurer’s office can be accessed at their service window. The door does say Employees only but that is for entering the office - you can still go to the service window.

***The Town Offices will be closed Monday September 7th in observance of  Labor Day.  ***

The BDCC proposal from Tuesday nights selectboard meeting has been upload to the town website under Government/Bids/RFPS as well as under News and Notices.

The Town Clerks office will be running on reduced hours next week September 9^th and 10^th the office will be open 9am-2pm both days. Remember if you are trying to access the Treasurer’s office to pay your taxes the service window is open.

Power Transitions will be hosting an informational meeting September 23rd more details to come.

Town Clerks office hours are as follows- Monday through Thursday 7am-5pm but is closed between 2-3PM. (and by appointment) You can reach the clerk at 802-257-2139 or email clerk@vernonvt.org.
