Tonight Monday 11/24 at 6:30pm the Vermont Public Utility Commission will host a public forum for the Vernon Great River Hydro Solar Project. This will be held at the Governor Hunt House Community Center. This is your time to learn about this project in our town and let your voice be heard.
Referrals are being accepted at the Vernon Free Library for their 2025 giving tree. So, if you know of a Vernon Resident that maybe struggling this holiday season contact the library as soon as possible: 802-257-0150 or email vernonfreelibrary@comcast.net and help make their Christmas a little brighter.

Vernon Recreation dept has announced their Open Gym hours for November break as well has the Home for the holidays Craft fair information. Check out their Facebook page for more information on what’s going on at the Vernon Recreation Dept.
The Vernon Elderly Assistance Board is once again offering snow removal services for anyone 65 years of age or disabled. The forms are available at The Town clerk’s office and can be mailed to 361 Huckle Hill rd. or dropped off at the Town Hall in the Elderly Assistance mailbox.
We will be closing at 2pm November 26th and closed on the 27th. Happy Thanksgiving!
The Treasurer's office hours are as follows- Monday through Thursday 7am to 4pm and they have opened the service window during office hours. The Treasurer can also be reached by phone at 802-257-2141 or email.
