A SPECIAL TOWN MEETING HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY JUNE 23rd, 2026 AT THE VERNON ELEMENTRY SCHOOL. AN INFORMATIONAL MEETING WILL BE HELD AT THE GOVERNOR HUNT HOUSE JUNE 3^rd, 2026 AT 6:30PM.

Reminder**The Town Clerk’s office is running on reduced hours today 9am-2pm.

The Conservation Commission meets tonight at 6:30pm at Lily Pond. In Person only bring your own Chair.

The new town dog ordinance has taken effect. A copy of this can be found on the town’s website. Under Vermont State Law, Title 20 Chapter 193 Subchapter 002; License (20 V.S.A 3581) all dogs and wolf-hybrids six (6) months of age or older must be licensed annually by April 1^st through the Town Clerk’s Office in the town the animal(s) reside. https://vernonvt.org/ordinances-regulations/
