THE SPECIAL TOWN MEETING SCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY MAY 19^th, 2026 AT THE VERNON ELEMENTRY SCHOOL HAS BEEN RECHEDULED FOR JUNE 23^rd AT 6:30PM.  

Lots going on this weekend in Vernon on Friday night food truck round -up is back at the Governor Hunt Community Center, on Saturday there will be town wide tag sales, a book sale at the library, and the fire department will have some grab and go food available for everyone out thrifting!

The new town dog ordinance has taken effect. A copy of this can be found on the town’s website. Under Vermont State Law, Title 20 Chapter 193 Subchapter 002; License (20 V.S.A 3581) all dogs and wolf-hybrids six (6) months of age or older must be licensed annually by April 1^st through the Town Clerk’s Office in the town the animal(s) reside. https://vernonvt.org/ordinances-regulations/
