The Planning commission meeting that normally takes place on Wednesday has been cancelled.
The Vernon Fire Department will be holding their annual Corned Beef Dinner on Saturday March 14th at the Fire department from 5-7PM by donation.

The Vernon School Board is seeking a community member to fill an open three-year term on the School Board of Directors.
Serving on the School Board is an opportunity to support local students, staff and families by helping guide district policies, budgets, and long-term planning. Board members attend regular meetings, review materials, and participate in thoughtful discussions and decision-making on behalf of the school community.
Please reach out to any current board member or Mary Ross, the principal at Vernon Elementary School for additional information. Interested parties can attend the next board meeting at Vernon Elementary School on 3/23/26 at 6pm.
Dog letters have gone out and just a reminder that all dogs and wolf hybrids over 6 months in age must be licensed by April 1st per Vermont State Statue 20 V.S.A. § 3581(a).
