The 2nd installment of your real estate tax is due this Thursday January 8, 2026.
Dog letters have gone out and just a reminder that all dogs and wolf hybrids over 6 months in age must be licensed by April 1st. per Vermont State Statue 20 V.S.A. § 3581(a).
The filing period has opened for Vernon’s March Municipal elections. The following positions are open a full list of positions has been posted on the Town website. Petitions will along with the candidate consent forms can be picked up at the Town Clerks office and must be filed with the Town Clerk 5 p.m., January 26th.
The Treasurer's office hours are as follows- Monday through Thursday 7am to 4pm. The Treasurer can also be reached by phone at 802-257-2141 or 802-257-2140. Also, you can email at vatreas@vernonvt.org or treasurer@vernonvt.org .
Town Clerk’s office hours are as follows- Monday through Thursday 7AM-5PM but is closed between 2-3PM. (and by appointment) You can reach the clerk at 802-257-2139 or email clerk@vernonvt.org.
