Good morning!

Everyone should have received there yellow or blue Town Meeting Warning in mail over the weekend but in case you missed it, it is also available at the Town Clerk's Office as well as on the Town website under documents/Agendas & minutes/Elections.

Town meeting will be held on March 2^nd, 2026 at 6:30pm at in Vernon Elementary School located at 381 Governor Hunt Road, Vernon, VT in the school’s gymnasium.

Election day will be March 3^rd, 2026 downstairs at Town Hall located at 567 Governor Hunt Road, Vernon, VT from 7am-7pm.

The Cusick verification forms are due back by February 15^th at 5:00pm. These can be dropped off in person, mailed, emailed or placed in the lockbox. I realize this is a Sunday but I will check the box after 5:00pm.

Dog letters have gone out and just a reminder that all dogs and wolf hybrids over 6 months in age must be licensed by April 1^st per Vermont State Statue 20 V.S.A. § 3581(a).

This year we will be doing a drawing for dog tag #1! All dogs licensed on time will be eligible. On April 2, we will draw a random tag number from the eligible registered dogs. That dog wins and trades in their tag for the #001 tag and the dog’s photo is will be displayed in the lobby of the Town Clerk’s office for the entire year!
