Governor Hunt House Community Center will be having Christmas Bingo this Friday the 19^th doors open at 5:30pm games begin at 6:00pm!

The 2^nd installment of your real estate tax is due on January 8, 2026.

The filing period has opened for Vernon’s March Municipal elections. The following positions are open a full list of positions has been posted on the Town website vernon. Petitions will along with the candidate consent forms can be picked up at the Town Clerks office and must be filed with the Town Clerk 5 p.m., January 26^th.

The Treasurer's office hours are as follows- Monday through Thursday 7am to 4pm.  The Treasurer can also be reached by phone at 802-257-2141 or 802-257-2140. Also, you can email at vatreas@vernonvt.org or treasurer@vernonvt.org .

Town Clerk’s office hours are as follows- Monday through Thursday 7AM-5PM but is closed between 2-3PM. (and by appointment) You can reach the clerk at 802-257-2139 or email clerk@vernonvt.org.

Town Clerk’s office holiday hours Monday December 22nd, Tuesday December 23^rd are 9:00am-2PM.

All town offices will be closed December 24^th Christmas Eve and Wednesday December 31^st New Year’s Eve.  Happy Holidays!
