Reminder there is no selectboard meeting tonight. The next selectboard meeting is scheduled for December 23, 2025 6:30pm downstairs.

Dog license renewals will be going out in January and The Windham County Rabies Clinic dates have been announced. Saturday January 17th is the first date and it will be held at The Windham County Sheriff’s Office on Ferry Road in Brattleboro from 10am-1pm. These are all open to all Windham County residents.

Governor Hunt House Community Center will be having Christmas Bingo this Friday the 19^th doors open at 5:30pm games begin at 6:00pm!

The 2^nd installment of your real estate tax is due on January 8, 2026.

The Treasurer's office hours are as follows- Monday through Thursday 7am to 4pm.  The Treasurer can also be reached by phone at 802-257-2141 or 802-257-2140. Also, you can email at vatreas@vernonvt.org or treasurer@vernonvt.org .

Town Clerk’s office hours are as follows- Monday through Thursday 7AM-5PM but is closed between 2-3PM. (and by appointment) You can reach the clerk at 802-257-2139 or email clerk@vernonvt.org.

Town Clerk’s office holiday hours Monday December 22nd, Tuesday December 23^rd are 9:00am-2PM.

All town offices will be closed December 24^th Christmas Eve and Wednesday December 31^st New Year’s Eve.  Happy Holidays!
