There will be blasting today at the Fort Bridgman Road quarry today in the afternoon.

 The 1st installment of real estate taxes is due Wednesday September 9th, 2026. If the Clerk’s office is closed the Treasurer’s office can be accessed at their service window. The door does say Employees only but that is for entering the office and you can still go to the window.

The Town Offices will be closed Monday September 7th in observance of Labor Day. The Town Clerks office will be running on reduced hours next week September 9^th and 10^th the office will be open 9am-2pm both days. Remember if you are trying to access the Treasurer’s office their service window is open.

The Treasurer’s office hours are as follows- Monday through Thursday 7am to 4pm.  The Treasurer can also be reached by phone at 802-257-2141 or 802-257-2140. Also, you can email at vatreas@vernonvt.org or treasurer@vernonvt.org .

Town Clerks office hours are as follows- Monday through Thursday 7am-5pm but is closed between 2-3PM. (and by appointment) You can reach the clerk at 802-257-2139 or email clerk@vernonvt.org.
