It is the first day of school! Please watch out for the busses on the roads and children walking to their bus stops.

I understand some of you had an issue getting in the zoom link for the selectboard listening session last night. I apologize. I attended the meeting and was not made aware of the issues until I read it on social media when I got home.  It was recorded by BCTV and as soon as I have the link, I will get it posted.

The 1st installment of real estate taxes is due Wednesday September 9th, 2026. If the Clerk’s office is closed the Treasurer’s office can be accessed at their service window. The door does say employees only but that is for entering the office and you can still go to the window.

The Treasurer’s office hours are as follows- Monday through Thursday 7am to 4pm.  The Treasurer can also be reached by phone at 802-257-2141 or 802-257-2140. Also, you can email at vatreas@vernonvt.org or treasurer@vernonvt.org .

Town Clerks office hours are as follows- Monday through Thursday 7am-5pm but is closed between 2-3PM. (and by appointment) You can reach the clerk at 802-257-2139 or email clerk@vernonvt.org.
