A lot has been said about Vermont act 181, but what is it, how will it affect our town and your property?  You are invited to attend a discussion on Tuesday, April 28th at 6:30pm at the Governor hunt community center to hear about the law, and the debate over its possible repeal and change. The Vernon select board wants to hear from you about how the law can be improved and our rights protected. Please note this is an informational meeting. You can also attend the meeting via zoom:

Green-up Day is May 2^nd! Green Up Bags are available to anyone that would like to pitch in and CLEAN UP EARLY! You can sign out at the town office, choose a route and go for it! All bags can be left at the top of the entry to the recreation area/ pool for pick up. Please do not leave any tires or large objects there. Everything must be in a bag.

The 3^rd installment of real estate taxes is due on May 7^th, 2026.
