Vernon Union Church

Vernon Union Church is located at 2631 Fort Bridgman Road (next to Vernon Hall), Vernon, VT. Services are currently suspended. Check the Facebook page for streaming services.

Vernon Advent Christian Church

Our Vernon Advent Christian Church family is longing for the opportunity to gather again as soon as it is allowed, but for the time being we are blessed to be able to live stream our Sunday morning worship services at 10:30 AM on Facebook at Vernon AC Church (Public Page). Anyone who “likes” & “follows” that page will have the live stream come up on your personal FB page.  We are also live streaming a Wednesday evening Bible Study at 7 PM via the same venue. 

We are also able to hold “Zoom” Bible studies during the week (Monday, 7 PM – Ladies; Tuesday, 7 PM – Men, & 7 PM – Mixed Adults; Thursday, 7 PM – Young Adults; & Saturday, 8 AM – Promise Keepers [Men]).  We also hold our Sunday evening prayer group via Zoom.  Anyone interested in joining any of these groups, contact the church office at 257-2341 & we can take your email information to be able to send you an invitation. 

The Bread of Life Food Pantry will be opened on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month, from 3:30 – 5 PM, with volunteers delivering groceries to folks’ cars. The Food Pantry is housed at Vernon Advent Christian Church, 4554 Fort Bridgman Road, Vernon, VT.

Mountain View Seventh-day Adventist Church

Mountain View Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at 1002 Fort Bridgman Road, Vernon, VT, normally meets every Saturday at 9:30 AM for Sabbath School classes for all ages. Church service begins at 11:00 AM. All are welcome. The church building is handicapped accessible. A fellowship meal is provided after the church service.

During this time of social distancing and self-quarantining, our church is temporarily closed for services.  However, we are continuing to have a church service and Sabbath School via Zoom and Youtube.  Anyone interested in joining in can visit our church website each Saturday morning for a link to connect.   People wishing to participate in Wednesday night prayer meetings are also welcome to visit the church website for a YouTube link to join.  

Our church family is also participating in a nationwide series called Hope Awakens sponsored by the It Is Written television ministry with John Bradshaw.  Anyone wishing to join this series can do so by visiting on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays at 7 p.m. until May 16.  At this website, you can watch the previous presentations that you might have missed.
