A message from Mary Ross, VES principal

Greetings Vernon community,

We at the school hope all community members are doing okay and that you feel comfortable and welcome to reach out to Principal Mary Ross with any needs that are not being met right now via email at mross@wsesu.org or at 802-365-1225. Enjoy the sunshine and the next rainy day, maybe take a look for a great new audiobook on stories.audible.com.

If you’ve recently lost income, your family may be newly eligible for 3SquaresVT, a food assistance program that helps you stretch your food budget and purchase foods from local stores and farmers’ markets. We would also like to share that even though school meals are free for all kids right now, submitting a school meal application is another great way to support your family and your community because if you qualify for free or reduced-price school meals right now, you will be sent a P-EBT card which would provide you with an extra $25-$30 per child per week of school closure to spend on groceries. We know this is a tough time for so many families and our community at large- please consider these resources to nourish your family and stay healthy. Click here for the link.

Best,

Mary Ross, VES Principal
